Designed for continuous outdoor deployment across real-world environments.
RECAP
Project Summary
Persium deployed a unified indoor and outdoor environmental monitoring network in Greece, integrating both outdoor and indoor Persium Pods into one cohesive system.
The network delivers continuous, real-time data across diverse urban settings, connecting outdoor pollutant monitoring with indoor air quality tracking to provide a complete picture of how environmental conditions affect the spaces people live and work in.
The Challenge
Air pollution does not stop at the building entrance. Outdoor emissions move through streets, façades, and ventilation systems, shaping the air quality people experience indoors. Yet most monitoring systems still treat indoor and outdoor environments as separate. Without a connected approach, the full exposure pathway remains invisible and unmanaged.
Persium
Deployment
The Greece network integrates outdoor and indoor Persium Pods into one cohesive monitoring system.
Outdoor monitoring parameters include PM1, PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, O₃, CO, SO₂, noise, temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed and direction, and Wet Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT).
Indoor monitoring tracks PM1, PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, CO₂, noise, temperature, humidity, and pressure.
Monitoring through Dashboard & MapView
All data streams into Persium Dashboard & MapView, delivering live geospatial visualisation of every deployed sensor across the network. Users can view real-time pollutant graphs, analyse trends and correlations between indoor and outdoor conditions, configure alerts, and generate downloadable reports via secure API access.
What This Enables
By connecting indoor and outdoor monitoring into one network, the Greece deployment delivers a complete view of community exposure, enabling evidence-based public health protection, targeted mitigation strategies, transparent reporting, and smarter urban planning. When data is unified, cities gain the clarity needed to protect health and build more resilient environments.
Environmental intelligence must reflect how people actually experience air quality.
