Project Summary
Persium deployed a unified indoor and outdoor environmental monitoring network in Abu Dhabi, with sensors engineered specifically for high-temperature, high-exposure GCC conditions.
Outdoor Pods monitor air quality, heat stress indicators, and atmospheric conditions. Indoor sensors track PM, VOCs, COâ‚‚, temperature, and humidity. All data streams into Persium MapView for live geospatial visualisation, configurable alerts, and real-time reporting.
The Challenge
Environmental monitoring in the UAE requires more than standard air quality measurement. High temperatures, intense solar radiation, thermal stress, and prolonged outdoor exposure demand robust systems capable of delivering consistent performance under demanding conditions.
A one-size-fits-all approach does not reflect the realities of the Gulf environment, or the monitoring requirements of the organisations operating within it.

Deployment
Persium Pods are deployed across both outdoor and indoor environments in Abu Dhabi, configured to reflect local environmental priorities.
Outdoor monitoring parameters include key pollutants such as PM1, PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, O₃, CO, SO₂, alongside noise, temperature, humidity, pressure, wind speed and direction, and heat stress indicators including WBGT and Heat Index.
Indoor monitoring tracks PM1, PM2.5, PM10, VOCs, COâ‚‚, temperature, humidity, and pressure.
Monitoring through Dashboard & MapView
All data streams into Persium Dashboard and MapView, providing live geospatial mapping, 3D visualisation, live pollutant graphs, configurable alerts, downloadable reports, and secure API access.
From hardware in the field to operational insight on screen, the system provides continuous, hyperlocal environmental visibility.
