Designed for continuous outdoor deployment across real-world environments.
RECAP
Project Summary
Persium deployed continuous indoor air quality monitoring across urban buildings in Dubai, providing real-time visibility into PM, VOCs, COâ‚‚, temperature, humidity, and pressure.
Data streams directly into Persium MapView for live visualisation, trend analysis, configurable alerts, and downloadable reporting. The deployment demonstrates how compact, discreet sensors can integrate into existing building infrastructure without disruption.
The Challenge
Indoor air quality directly impacts comfort, performance, and long-term health exposure, particularly in the Gulf, where buildings are sealed against extreme outdoor heat for much of the year.
Without continuous monitoring, building operators have no way to understand how internal conditions evolve throughout the day, or how external pollution influences the air inside. One-off testing provides a snapshot; continuous data reveals performance.
Persium
Deployment
Persium indoor sensors are deployed across buildings in Dubai, compact in design, discreet in installation, and scalable across multiple floors and zones.
Indoor monitoring parameters include:
• PM1, PM2.5, and PM10
• Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs)
• Carbon Dioxide (CO₂)
• Temperature, humidity, and pressure
Monitoring through Dashboard & MapView
All data streams into Persium Dashboard and MapView, enabling live pollutant graphs, 3D spatial visualisations, historical trend analysis, configurable alerts, downloadable reports, and API-enabled system integration. Web-based, real-time, and accessible across multiple users simultaneously.
What This Enables
Continuous indoor monitoring transforms air quality from an invisible risk into a measurable, manageable metric, enabling facility operators and city stakeholders to manage occupant exposure, optimise building performance, and demonstrate environmental transparency. Suitable for commercial buildings, campuses, healthcare facilities, and urban infrastructure projects.
Indoor air quality, made visible and measurable.
