Deployment

Environmental intelligence, built for the demands of the Gulf.

Environmental intelligence, built for the demands of the Gulf.

Persium is active across the GCC , with live deployments in the UAE and Qatar, a regional base in Abu Dhabi, and sensors engineered for high-temperature, high-intensity environments. From construction sites and airports to oil and gas operations and smart infrastructure, we provide continuous, real-time environmental monitoring across the region's most demanding environments.

Regional Presence

From fenceline and construction monitoring to noise, heat stress, and mobile monitoring deployment.

From fenceline and construction monitoring to noise, heat stress, and mobile monitoring deployment.

Extreme heat, desert dust, and high-intensity industrial operations place unique demands on environmental monitoring. Persium's sensors are engineered to meet them, operating at temperatures up to +85°C, with solar power and cellular connectivity built in. Deployed across the UAE, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, with a regional base in Abu Dhabi and Hub71 membership, Persium is present, proven, and ready to scale.

GCC Pod Deployment

Construction & Dust Monitoring

Key pollutants: PM10, PM2.5, PM1, PM0.3, NO₂, CO, noise, wind speed and direction

Proposed deployment areas: Site perimeter, downwind boundary, site entrance and exit points, residential interface zones

GCC construction generates significant particulate matter from earthworks, material handling, and desert dust events. Persium provides continuous perimeter and on-site monitoring — tracking dust levels in real time, triggering threshold alerts, and generating time-stamped records for environmental compliance and ESG reporting.

Oil, Gas & Industrial Fenceline

Key pollutants: CH₄, VOCs, H₂S, SO₂, NOₓ, NO₂, CO, PM2.5, PM10, wind vector

Proposed deployment areas: Facility boundary, downwind positions, flare stack perimeter, community interface, control room surroundings

Refineries, processing facilities, and distribution infrastructure require continuous boundary monitoring for fugitive emissions and regulatory compliance. Persium fenceline networks detect emission events in real time and generate auditable compliance records.

Noise Monitoring

Key parameters: Noise (dB), PM2.5, PM10, NO₂, VOCs, temperature, humidity, wind

Proposed deployment areas: Site perimeter, residential interface, urban development boundaries, infrastructure corridors, port and logistics zones

Industrial and construction operations across the GCC face increasing noise regulation near residential and urban zones. Persium Pods monitor sound levels continuously alongside air quality, delivering a unified environmental dataset from a single deployed sensor.

Heat Stress & WBGT Monitoring

Key parameters: WBGT, temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, Heat Index, Wind Chill, Dew Point

Proposed deployment areas: Outdoor worker zones, construction sites, logistics yards, sports and event venues, public spaces

Temperature alone doesn't capture physiological heat risk. Persium provides continuous WBGT monitoring at site level, accounting for humidity, radiant heat, and wind, with real-time alerts that help site managers implement safe work-rest cycles before conditions become dangerous.

Airport & Aviation Monitoring

Key pollutants: NO₂, NO, PM0.3 (ultrafine), PM1, PM2.5, PM10, CO, noise, wind

Proposed deployment areas: Runway perimeter, aprons, taxiways, gate areas, terminal zones, site boundary

Taxiing aircraft, APUs, and ground support equipment generate localised NO₂ and ultrafine particle spikes that standard monitoring misses entirely. Persium deploys across airside and terminal environments, protecting ground crews and supporting ICAO and regional air quality reporting requirements.

Mobile & Temporary Deployment

Key parameters: Fully configurable, PM, gases, noise, WBGT, wind — depending on project requirement

Proposed deployment areas: Temporary construction zones, event venues, emergency response sites, short-term compliance monitoring, pre-development environmental baseline surveys

Not every GCC monitoring requirement is permanent. Persium's solar-powered, cellular-connected sensors deploy rapidly to temporary sites, without fixed power or network infrastructure, streaming data to the platform from day one.
