Persium Joins Hub71's Cohort 18 in Abu Dhabi

Air pollution doesn't respect borders, and neither does the work of solving it.

Persium has been selected to join Hub71, Abu Dhabi's global tech ecosystem, as part of its Cohort 18. The selection follows a rigorous process, with thousands of applications reviewed and only a fraction making it through. Joining this cohort places Persium alongside some of the most promising high-growth startups working across deep tech, climate, and urban innovation today.

Why Hub71, and why now

Hub71 connects high-potential startups with capital, government partners, and enterprise leaders to help them scale across the UAE and wider GCC. For Persium, this is more than a presence in the region. It is an opportunity to deepen partnerships with the governments and infrastructure operators already shaping how Gulf cities plan for growth, heat, and air quality.

The UAE and broader GCC face a particular set of environmental challenges. High temperatures, rapid urban density, and ambitious infrastructure projects all demand monitoring systems built for the realities of the region, not adapted from elsewhere. Persium's sensors and digital twin platform were designed with exactly that kind of adaptability in mind.

What this means for Persium's next phase

Through Hub71, Persium will expand deployment of real-time environmental monitoring across three priority sectors: transport, real estate, and urban infrastructure. Each of these sectors depends on continuous, hyperlocal data to make informed decisions, whether that's managing air quality around transit corridors, supporting LEED-aligned building performance, or helping city planners understand pollution at street level. This expansion builds on Persium's existing footprint in Abu Dhabi, where the company has already deployed precision IoT sensors engineered for high-temperature, high-exposure environments.

Looking ahead

Joining Hub71 is a clear signal of where Persium is headed next. The Gulf region is investing heavily in climate resilience and smart infrastructure, and environmental intelligence needs to be part of that conversation from the start, not added in afterwards. Persium is proud to build the next phase of its growth from Abu Dhabi, and looks forward to the partnerships, opportunities, and impact that Hub71's Cohort 18 will bring. Persium helps cities see what's invisible.
